SalatBuddy Contemporary Prayer and Posture Stool is designed to assist sitting in a kneeling position. The prostration position ("seiza" in Japanese; "sujud" in Arabic) strengthens and adds flexibility to the muscles, joints and ligaments in the legs, adding to your overall health and well-being. When seated in this position, the spine is kept straight and the legs are folded underneath the body with knees on the ground, the tops of the feet flat on the ground with the soles facing upward and toes pointing backwards, and the buttocks (rump) resting on the heels. Use of the SalatBuddy Stool eases the tension and pressure on the knees and ankles, lessening pain one may feel in the performance of prostration. Uniquely designed for men and women, it fits neatly between your feet, while standing and sitting. The SalatBuddy Stool is 10.5 inches wide and 8.0 inches high and can support weight up to 300 lbs. The 12 Multi-Risers, also included, can increase the height by 0.75 inches (1.905cm) each so the angle of your knee changes when seated. Maximum of 3 Multi-Risers are recommended for each SalatBuddy Stool. The 2 Y-Cradles, also included, allow for neat stacking of multiple SalatBuddy Stools. Made in USA, the SalatBuddy Stool, Multi-Riser and Y-Cradle are durable, easy to clean and elegant. The material is high-grade polypropylene in the distinctive red and grey colors. The 10-Pack set weighs approximately 31 lbs. and includes 2 instructional wall posters.
