Product Detail
Ferulic acid is a potent antioxidant and free radical destroyer. When used in a serum, it protects skin from environmental damage and stabilizes vitamin c - preventing it from oxidizing and degrading. Ferulic acid powder is generally used in a 1% solution. It must be dissolved in an alcohol base (generally witch hazel or a small amount of vodka) before use.
Many of our customers mix it with our Vitamin C Powder or Hyaluronic Acid Powder to create a fresh, professional quality serum.
Bos essentials Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Ferulic Acid Serum Instructions
In 4 tablespoons of water, add:
Between ½ and 2 tablespoons Bos Essentials Vitamin C Powder (for a 5-20% Vitamin C solution)
A few drops of Bos Essentials Ferulic Acid Powder dissolved in an alcohol base (helps to stabilize vitamin c and adds additional antioxidant properties)
¼ to ½ teaspoon glycerin (optional)
½ teaspoon Bos Essentials Hyaluronic Acid Powder (add only when the rest of the ingredients are fully dissolved)
Refrigerate until gelled and apply daily prior to the rest of your beauty routine.
