This listing is for a NEW Noodlers color, Baystate Concord Grape. 3 oz. bottle of Noodler s fountain pen ink, the product is brand new, current product directly from the manufacturer. The bottle is glass with a distinctive Noodler s label, and an outside Noodler s box. This ink is all U.S. made, and is specifically designed for fountain pen use. The Noodler s Baystate inks are a reintroduction of a rare (and until recently unavailable) mid-1940s family of inks that were once very popular in the New England area. Baystate Concord Grape has a dramatic intensity, and is even enhanced on certain grades of paper. Baystate Concord Grape is only partially water resistant. Those concerned about staining porous surfaces probably should avoid this ink. Pen parts are not a problem, but assume if you stain clothes, furniture, etc. that those stains will stay there. Mixing Baystate inks should not be mixed with any other Noodler s inks except those with the Baystate label. They are exclusive to themselves in behavior. Mixing Baystate colors with other brands of ink should also be avoided to steer clear of unwanted results.
