HED Technology for Enhanced Performance
Thanks to Lutron s HED technology, this dimmer actually improves the performance of dimmable CFLs and LEDs compared to standard dimmers by eliminating flicker, ensuring lights stay on when they are dimmed to a low level, and making sure lights operate properly at all levels. Lights will stay on even during voltage fluctuations, which can happen when a device like an air conditioner or a hair dryer is operated nearby.
