Creative Background: I lost my father when I was 4 years old. Unfortunately, I was too young to
remember him. However, my hometown always remembers him as an excellent business man, gaining
legendary status in his field. The stories I know from my father comes mainly from friends
and family who had the chance to meet him personally. How wonderful would it have been if
he had a notebook as a travel companion where he could have shared all his precious life moments.
It would have been so great to read his journal and pass it on to my children. Since I
didn t had the chance to find such writing journal from my father I made it my life mission to design
notebooks where people can keep their memories alive for generations. During the designing
process in 2012 I regained my courage and confidence, which helped me to bring my brand "VALERY" to life.
The "Tree of life"on the leather bounded journal coversymbolizes to me hope and confidence and helped me
when I was a child to look forward as I grew up without a father.
