The serrated pipe grip is used for transverse gripping and moving of parts, while the serrated straight area of the gripping jaws grips materials tightly and without slippage in a longitudinal direction. The head of the installation pliers has clear-cut outside edges, which can be used for piercing, deburring, and expanding openings in molded fittings. The edges of the pliers head can also be used for a number of scraping and cleaning operations. It cuts cables up to 19/32-inches in diameter, and it features stripping holes for 12 + 14 AWG cable, and crimp die for end sleeves (ferrules) from 12 to 20 AWG.
